Orthopedic Physiotherapy
Orthopedic physiotherapy is the foundation of pelvic health physiotherapy and it focuses on diagnosing and treating injuries or disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments.
CAMPT-Certified physiotherapists are Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) that have completed extensive post-graduate education in the area of orthopedics and have attained internationally recognized qualifications in hands-on manipulative therapy.
At Spera Health Physiotherapy, we use our advanced orthopedic skills to assess and treat all pelvic health and concurrent conditions to help get to the root of the problem so you can recover faster and stay healthier.
What is involved?
Education on contributing factors to your symptoms and effective management strategies.
External manual and manipulative therapy (where appropriate) to improve joint mobility and tissue dynamics.
Acupuncture and/or Dry Needling to reduce pain and muscle tension.
Individualized exercise prescription to address your unique needs followed by videos to guide a home exercise program.
